Takeout: Wontons and Sausages

Shrimp and wild vegetable wontons
Chicken seasoned with cumin
Radish and scallion soup
Northern Chinese style pork sausage


Sausage and chicken were courtesy of a restaurant nearby. Wontons I get frozen from another takeout place and can be cooked on the fly when there is nothing for dinner.

    You definitely live in a better food neighborhood than I do. Whenever I stop in any local Chinese take out place (which isn't that often) everyone's ordering chicken wings and pork fried rice. I always wonder if the cooks get sick of making those things.

    The littering and crowding make up for the cheap and good food I guess. I tell myself that everyday.
